The purpose of the Bloodborne Pathogens Program is to establish safe-handling procedures and disseminate information to Brown faculty, staff, and students with occupational exposure to unfixed tissues, blood, blood products, cell cultures/media, and Other Potentially Infectious Materials (OPIM) of human origin.
